Shadow Work is Healthy

It’s easy to be mad at ourselves for having a dark side. Sometimes we may feel as though it would be better for us to push our darkness to the side and pretend it doesn’t exist. No matter how hard you may try to escape your darkness it is always going to be lurking in the depths of your soul waiting for you to come to terms with it. I am finding healthy ways to explore my dark side as I tap into resilience so that I may continue to endure life’s constant changes. Interestingly enough, the exploration of my shadow is fairly similar to exploring my light. Shadow work can be draining.
