Back Bending Preparation

With so much going on in the world it’s easy to just want to shut down and close ourselves off to others.

In an effort to keep my heart open, I make sure to include some sort of backbend into my day. I understand that in order to receive people and new information, my heart must be open to it.

Give this 3 legged dog, kneeling crescent, half splits, Sphinx pose, cobra to upward facing dog sequence a shot before moving into your back bend.

If you suffer from scoliosis be sure to pause at cobra! Maybe place a pillow beneath your belly for additional support.

Remember to connect with your breath!
